HVAC Technician

Temperature Pro Columbus is hiring a HVAC Technician!

We are an innovative and solutions-focused organization committed to our customer’s comfort needs and our team member’s growth! The HVAC Technician will have the opportunity to acquire personal wealth, while establishing yourself as a trusted resource in your local community.
We are looking for qualified HVAC Technicians with strong communication skills to service our clients in the Columbus, OH area. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC Industry, must be able to work in a team environment and to perform various duties including trouble shooting, maintenance, diagnostics, repair and installation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment.

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC Industry.
  • Ability to diagnose, repair and service residential and commercial air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Ability to test, repair or replace defective equipment, electrical circuits, components, or wiring.
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, power tools, voltage and current meters, thermocouples and flow sensors.
  • Ability to test equipment after repair.
  • Ability to work independently, or part of a team, to identify and resolve problems in the field.
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications.
  • Have EPA Refrigeration Certification to handle EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal refrigerant or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
  • Having own tools is preferable.
